On behalf of the Ohio 4-H Animal Sciences, Dairy Programs, we would like to offer our sincere THANKS to the following organizations and individuals for their support of our programs.

We owe thanks for the literally hundreds of volunteers who make the Ohio 4-H Dairy Judging Contest successful.  Larry Schirm, Lee Kohler, Julie Delavergne, Rachel Foreman, John Langel, Neil Duncan all aceepted the role of official seriously.  You will notice the familiar names and the final three are all Ohio State juding alumni who are going to be some of the ones to come along and grace the tanbark in the years to come.

How could we have a contest with cattle and the exhibitors willing to share?  Each animal came from a different herd unit and every effort is given to NOT using cattle belonging to juniors who are participating in the contest.  Then there is our announcer, Mr. Neil Smith and everyone ringside running the cards back and forth to the scoring room.  In that room, Reagan Bluel (Waterman Dairy Farm Manager), Annie Eilenfeld and Kevin Jacque (veterinary school students), and Paige Gott(judging team alum).

Special kudos to Noel Alden who kept track of the contest animal's arrival and departure for othe officials!

Thanks to ADA for providing our soothing dairy break after all that focus for the contest.  It was just what was needed. Fuel up to judge!  I sense a new logo.
